This new build has recently appeared on Sandy Lane.
We actually watched the fairies move in. They’re quite happy to appear in the daytime now – no more hiding away in woods and hedgerows. They know the humans who live here respect Nature and won’t interfere with their way of life.
In other news, our Greyhound Rescue friends Jan and Alain have been fostering an Irish Greyhound called Maud. She is 9 months old and very playful in spite of a leg injury. When she heard about this blog, she decided to have a go herself, but she had a bit of trouble working Jan’s computer and ended up swallowing some of the keys.
Now we’re waiting for her to serve up alphabet poop!
Alphabet poop! I nearly spat my tea out!

Thanks! Maud has moved on now – we never did find out if she pooped out those keys.

I’m so loving this post on every level. That is the best fairy garden house idea EVER. We just had to cut down a large dead tree by our house, and I’m now seriously bummed that I had them take it to the ground. It looks awesome! Also oh em gee with the dog. My sister has a wolfhound but it has only eaten everything else. Our sheepdogs stick to carpet and clothes. (Not that I can find a dog food that they like. Seriously??) It’s not like you would ever use an arrow key anyway. It’s like the power button, every vowel, and enter – total fluff! 😉

Yes, Maud was very considerate to stick to eating the useless keys! 😀

Love the fairy house! I would like to invite the fairies into our garden, we already have a fairy door in my daughters bedroom, it would be nice if the fairies had somewhere nice to play outside. I’m waiting for my daughter to age a little more, shes just turned 2, so I can show her the fairies 🙂

A house can never have enough fairy doors – just make sure they’re not big enough for goblins to get in. Believe me, you don’t want a goblin infestation! 😉
