#JusJoJan 7th: Writer’s Block

Doubting MillieWe’re not sure about this Just Jot It business. We came across it yesterday and thought we’d have a go, but since then we’ve discovered other bloggers are doing it every day, and inspiration is pretty thin on the ground here at the moment. Annabelle says her head feels like one of those fat balls people put out for the birds – the seeds are in there, but nothing can grow. I’d like to help, but I can’t get my smellepathy messages through if Annabelle can’t translate them.

???????????????????????????????

We’re hoping it’s just a symptom of the time of year. Maybe Annabelle needs more sunlight to spark the fire of inspiration and melt all that brain fat – and hopefully any future jottings, if they happen, won’t just be brain farts.

  1. My suggestion: Jot when you feel inspired and let the brain dwell on what it must!

Well, it is January after a holiday rush. Perhaps inspiration is just in need of a nap. 🙂

  5. I love your seed ball analogy. The inspiration will strike Annabelle when she least expects it 🙂

I appreciate your attempt, which is quite lovely in its own way. Today’s prompt is “honourable” – so much honour among puppies… 😉
